About
Michelle Sjöberg is an Art Director with over 10 years of experience within the field of marketing and advertising.
She received her education at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, and found her passion for design and advertising. Already as a young creative she was exposed to ground breaking work at Swedish creative agency, Forsman Bodenfors and smaller boutique shops in New York City.
After leaving Europe her career began at a digital agency in NY, KBS+. Here she learnt how to interact with all departments raging from studio, strategy, media groups, digital innovations, UX designers in addition to developing client relationships. Clients included Vanguard, John Freida, BMW, Steak and Shake.
She then landed in San Francisco where she shifted from a larger agency of 800 people to a small digital shop, Evolution Bureau. She also worked out of the London office on the Chivas Regal business. Alongside the Pernod Ricard brands, she also worked on Anolon Cooking Supplies, Sunglass Hut, Milkbone Pet Foods, College Inn Broth.
Michelle then worked at DDB SF where she worked on Qualcomm, Symantec, Dial Beauty products, Got2b beauty products, Alfa Romeo and Energy Upgrade California and Amazon Fresh.
Michelle’s latest full time position was at Daniel Wellington in Stockholm, Sweden where we held the title of the global Art Director. She was responsible for creating campaigns that not only spread across all markets but all touch points of marketing.
She is currently available for freelance or full time positions.
Skills
She is a multidisciplinary thinker with a skillset to make a great thought into a great execution. She strives to fix and evolve brands from a variety of angles whilst prioritizing beautiful aesthetics. As much as she is a professional in the digital space she loves to leave the screen and work with her hands. She values being a maker in every sense of the word.

Outside of work, Michelle is an outdoor enthusiast. She finds comfort and clarity through physical pursuits in nature. You can find her cycling for miles on end or hiking through the abundance of national forest land this country has to offer. What she gets from these experiences is the focus and clarity used to spark creativity. Her relentless energy keeps her moving from project to project and activity to activity, collecting experiences so that she can push the bounds of her own limitations and grow creatively.
